S. Thomas' College
Mt. Lavinia, Sri Lanka

Dedicated by the Grade 8 Students of 1983 (This class finished A/L at STC in1988, making it the Class 88 Batch)

But we call it the Class 83 because 'most' of us were displaced by the civil war in Sri Lanka in 1983

Founder

Rt. Rev. James Chapman D.D
First Bishop of Colombo of the Church of Ceylon

Thomians young, and Thomians old
Thomians staunch and true!
Rally round the college flag,
The Blue, the Black and Blue
To your Alma Mater sing,
Thomians near and far
Loudly let the echoes ring,
For all we have and are,

Esto Perpetua
Esto Perpetua
Esto Perpetua
For the Blue, Black and Blue
for ever

You belong to one of the best schools in the world, a school with splendid traditions and the most honourable name and I charge you to try and hand down those traditions and that name untarnished and unimpaired.
- Warden Buck
